Arrival:  The program leader will meet you at the agreed upon time of
arrival.  If you are running late, please call the GBG.  Everyone will gather at the pavilion unless otherwise notified.  If more than one group of 12 students is attending, please let the students know before they arrive at the garden, which group they will be in so the rotation can begin smoothly.

Attire:  The programs will occur rain or shine so please bring appropriate clothes, shoes, and outerwear.  Other items may include sunhats, sunscreen, bug dope and water.

Bees, wasps:  Please keep in mind that we will be in an outdoor garden setting, which we share with many animals including bees and wasps.  If there are any students or adult supervisors with known allergic reactions, please let us know and bring the appropriate protective gear. Staff are not permitted to administer medicines but will provide emergency assistance and contact authorities.

Lunch:  You are welcome to bring bag lunches and eat at the GBG pavilion before or after your scheduled program if it is available.  You must check on its availability.  The covered pavilion has tables, benches and trash canisters. It is the responsibility of the students and chaperones to clean up the area after use.  Insufficient cleaning of the pavilion may result in loss of use in the future.

Facilities:  Two, single-use restrooms are located in the visitor center and one accessible outhouse is in the parking area outside of the visitor center.
