Pollination, pollinators

Our research with pollinators is limited to wild berries and their management, although we have supported more general research on identifying major pollinators in Alaska. We have also compiled more informal surveys of insect visitors to the GBG with the goal of identifying favorite plants, both native and non-native that might be great pollinators,  as well as pollen and nectar sources. We have not looked at pollen loads and pollen germination, but our list is a good start for further studies
