The Annual Flower Display Garden is the most colorful and popular part of the GBG. We test more than 300 flowers each summer. The cultivars come from a variety of sources including retail catalogs, wholesale, flower breeders and the public.

We trial flowers for three seasons to learn how well they perform in a variety of seasons. Data include quality evaluations, disease susceptibility, bloom times, fragrance and more. Those that receive the best ratings make it to our "best of the best list".
